The site has been growing with leaps and bounds lately. Only 5 more new members and Where I Fish will meet it's pre-spring goal of 200 members. This is one site I am really proud to be a member of. Schoe has really put a lot of his heart and soul into making this such a wonderful site. His constant input and dedication is just an inspiration to all members to make them want to make this one of the greatest sites on the net. Can I hear a round of applause for Schoe and Where I Fish.com ?

Congragulations to Schoe and the magical fishing forum genie ,Annie:D
There are so many others also that add so much to this great forum with your informative posts and the behind the curtain work.
I'm impressed with the overall lack of negative ranting.:) Thanks to all, Mike

Giller, negative ranting is something I want to avoid on this site. There are plenty of places out there for people to air their frustrations. Like you stated , our folks have been great and thats a big plus for us. Schoe

I agree it's a great site. A big "THANKS" to both Schoe and Annie (and all the other members) for making it a fun, informative place to visit. I've really enjoyed the time I've spent surfing the net here. LOL! Here's to making the goal!

This has to be the best forum for all species of fishing and dedicated to all types of fishing - some may do a better job of say bass or catfishing etc...but no one has tried this and that is for, Where to fish! Nice different idea Annie and Schoe!

Lets keep our eye out for our next member that signs up. They will make the goal I had set for the first of March. We almost made it and I sincerely thank everyone for making this possible.
Please, if I miss # 200 let me know who it is.
My next goal is 500 members by January 07, and with everyone's help I'm sure we can achieve this. I personally will be out and about promoting as usual but the real promoters are you, our fine members. Thanks everyone, Schoe

Well Folks, after I contacted Cams about being our 200th member I finally got a reply from him saying that he had to sign up as a member to do some work on site that my son had hired him to do. So, our actual 200th member is "Redfish" and Ladymohawk. Ladymohawk PMed me yesterday AM and was having trouble getting registered and asked me to do it for her which I was doing when Redfish appeared as our newest member. So, in all fairness to both I will have an equal gift for both as soon as both respond to a PM or E-mail I will send them. They will have 72 hours to respond. Sorry about the mix up. Schoe

all we know about red fish is that he is 52 years old,no other info in
his profile,is it to much to ask for a FIRST NAME,AND LOCATION???there
are going to be some prizes given out along the way, first name and
location is required to win anything, all members should take the time to
up date the profile with a first name and your location, you never know
when you may be the loser of a nice prize, and TRUST ME,there are going
to be some things come along that will make you kick your self in the butt,
for not taking the time to do this update.

Here's one for you - I click on user CP and then edit profile - the only thing that comes up is password info and date of birth - nothing else - no way to update anything - Schoe said I didn't have my info in there but when I signed up I put everything in - now there is no place to update - it just isn't there - so I put my first name in my signature and my town is still there from when I signed up but it doesn't show in my profile - so whats up????

Screen,
I'm still new to this board, but when I click on user CP I see a list of all my posts I've made so far on the right. Then on the left, I see a bunch of links. One of which is edit profile. Am I the only one who see this?

I know what you mean Live2Fish but when I click edit profile it has nothing but my pasword info and birth date and nothing else - no ability to update my other info - location, name, etc... - does anyone else have this problem?
I filled in everything when I registered (I have nothing to hide and trust this site) but for some reason (brought to my attention by Schoe) it didn't register everything - so I want to uptate things but can't!

Fellas, I am forwarding the problem to the fellow that Jeremy has working on the site. Please hang in there and things will get figured out.
I was out and about today and see that we had four new people join us today and I would like to welcome all of you and hope you all of you share your experiences and ideas. Schoe

I've had the same problem. If I'm reading the research on this issue (yep, I'll admit to being a Google freak!) it has to do with settings in the admin panel. It might be set to not show anything to outside the admin panel. Apparently, the setting prevents hacking. Who knows? Good luck to Jeremy or the other fellow in getting it fixed.

Due to the fact that we are having some difficulty's revising the profiles for some reason, the profile update is lifted for this contest so it is fair to everyone. Thank you all for your patience. Schoe

Welcome Wildonions. :-)
Schoe, thanks for lifting the profile update I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I wanted to ask about the KY get together. Do you have to be present to win?
Schoe
03-14-2006, 11:54 PM
Fisherbuddy, The answer to your question is no. The reason we will draw out the winners name or number at the Get Together is to show everyone our drawings and contests are on the up and up. The winner will be notified by a PM as soon as I can get to a computer after the drawing. Then I will send them the equipment no later than May, 1st. The winner can call me, PM me, or E-mail the address to send it to.
The problem we were having with the Profile has been taken care of and it would be nice if everyone would at least put their first name and State as this will be a requirement for future Contests and drawings. Thank you for your question and support. Schoe
