Ice gettin tore up!!!

went out to the marina this evenin, had about an hr to kill for my wife went to work, more rain and fog forcast for tommorow!!! in the 40s I believe,,,,

That ice looks terrible Jason. It won't last long with this warm trend.
Where is that marina?
I knew I should have went out again early today.
The weather liars here are calling for rain changing to snow tomorrow. Possibly LOTS of snow. Mike

thats the marina in sterling. Ive never ice fished there, heard a few have. there lots a holes there already, sad its only about a 5 min drive form me and ive never ice fished it!!
Drilled a couple holes, still about 5 inches ice now, and a good inch plus slush/water on top

heard about the snow, there calling that to roll through here on sunday, tomm is 43 and rain showers!!

You just wait the weather guy says that it's going to get cold again soon. possibly sat evenin and sun possible the rest of the week.

There was 5 to 6" on the canal where the water was running 4 1/2' to 5' deep.
I'll be extra carefull now after this rain and maybe snow covering the ice. Mike

drove ta rockford an back yesterday morn early pickin up my daughter an granddaughter an jus south of ya guys the ice gits a lil spotty on the ponds by the interstate...ya guys be careful an have fun....jus got nuff ice here ta keep me from fishin in the boat:icon_mad:
