Last week when there was a cold spell, I left my wax worms in the van, and they froze solid. Thinking they were history, I brought them into the shop and set them on the table. They thawed out and I was supprised that they had retaind the cream color all day. I put them in the fridge for a couple days and they were just starting to turn dark. Ill be freezing a few more fresh ones, and think I will be able to thaw a small ammount to use as I need them.
This is an ongoing experiment, but I think I might be able to make this work for me during the winter. Mike
