Bass'n, Welcome to the WhereIFish family!!
There was a word in your post that brought up the red flag for this ole fella.lol HEARD
I would call the local conversation officer-- (game warden in these parts) and ask for sure about this new law.
I recently watched a show on TV that featured a noodling contest in OK. There were a group there from the state of MO. that said they were fighting for the right to noodle in the state of MO. I would be sure that fight is finally over before I tried it. Since it seemed to be one of those "hot topic issues" your local bait shop may have information about it .
I actually tried it once on a local stream. Reached under a log and felt something move.:confused0068: GAME OVER:confused0068: lol Mike

Looking over the Fishing regulations for MO, way it reads you cannot take fish by hand (noodling) under any circumstances

Here is copy of the Regs Summary for Missouri in PDF format, believe it was on Page 6 or 7 , Just save the download to your computer and you will have that copy of the regs right there

Thanks for the welcome. I guess noodling could be a no-go but since I'm on this site, any locations where to find quality white bass, striper from shore. I know there are places but w/ millions of acres to explore, I need some help. I've done quite well at grand lake for white bass fr. the dam but I want to try a new place. Beaver Lake (AR), last time I went, i gave up and went swimming instead.

When i was younger noodilng was a big adventure,a lot of fun and
a little spooky,But as i look back at it we were taking Flatheads and Blues
that were at there prime Breeding age which didnt help the population
growth of the fish that we like to fish for,if i had it to do again I wouldnt
do it,dont take this as a Preachin its just 1 mans opnion that it should
be outlawed in all states and Kentucky :confused0024: Kirk

Its hard to stand in 5 ft of water with a Big Blue or Flathead with your
fist thru the gills clear up to your elbows, them Blues really like to twist
on your arm,one time i had a flathead trapped in a den under the bank
and he ended up clamping down on my foot shoe and all,I started to ease
back so i could get him by the mouth and get control,WRONG danged
near drowned before he let me go,another time me an my buddy put our
selfs in a hollow log and had a jabbin pole, one came up an he got him
Well he said dont move theres another one in there, bout that time i heard
this thumpin sound comin up the log, well he didnt stop, sumich hit me
in the chest an knocked me plumb outta the log, dont have a clue how
big he was and didnt care,I dont get in there house anymore Game Over:evilgrin0031: Kirk
P.S If you give it a try NEVER go alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
