Went to the Philadelphia Sportsmen's Show yesterday. Took my daughter Lilly (just shy of 2 years old) so Mommy could have a day of peace & quiet.
We had a good time. It was mostly charter boat and hunting guides - but there were a few fishing manufacturers - I came away with some fishing lures from Weaver Lure Co (http://www.weaverlure.com). in Allentown, PA - but spent most of the time looking at the various animals (both live & stuffed) on display.

Also found out there's an annual Flathead Catfish tourney in May on the Delaware River about a half hour from my house. Who knew?
We'll definitely go back, and next year hit the trout pool. We're already working on Lilly's casting in the backyard. She will probably be able to tie a Rapala knot before she can tie her own shoes!
