I got the oppertunity today to take my Dad out for some fishing.
After his strokes he's unable to do much yet he can walk short distances and he can reel although his set is a bit slow.
We fished for about 5 hours and caught better than 40 fish.
Here's Dad.

He's getting the hang of lifting fish and since I've given him my old FL-8
an old rod and spring he's turning into a no meat guy.
He giggles when he fools those fish into biting.
Our fish were not monsters ,but they did keep us busy.

Our tactic today was to mark some fish in 25 fow.We would hammer 6 fish and work a few more then they would stop .They were there ,but not all wanted to bite.

So then I'd walk 20 yards and punch 2 more holes.
Again there would be a half dozen kamakzee's ,then we'd work a few more and then they would stop biting.
I bet I moved us 10 times.
Fishing with Dad was awesome today.
I sure do appreciate these later years with him.
