rod reel match

got the rods now whats suggested for the reels from acadia, imlookin around a bit, but curious as to the acadia match up
I bought a Fseries spinning rod 6'6" Med light
F series spinning 7" Med rod

I was thinking prob the ES 200 and 300 be best match up?

I hate to by rods and reels without touching/seeing first hand first, I am going to Bass Pro in a couple weeks so my purchase will based off what I see there... would like to keep the reels price in the 30-40 dollar range.....But I like the quality acadia has given me so far on my other bait casting rods..

what ya gonna be throwin with em?that makes my decision on new reels,line capacity is the main factor fer me.never buy a reel that the diameter i wanna use is on the high end of the scale fer the reel.

itll be for catfishin..... little too much for the crappie and bluegills...lol..

Jason, The 300 series is what I have been using all this past year for Channel Cat fishing on the F-Series rod.

I will try and remember to bring one with me on the sixth to the college so you can get the "feel" of them together.

Lee is coming out with a heavier duty rod series sometime in March which I will use the 500 reel on for the larger Flatheads and Blues. Schoe

Buying a new Rod and reel is like findin' a good woman..... Ya can't tell nuttin' about it 'til ya get your hands on it..... Don't matter 'bout all them numbers and stuff they feed you , it's the feel.... "If it feels good, buy it" ! ( and ya can quote me on that):icon_biggrin:

If that rod and reel feels good to you, you can make it do whatever you want it to do...That's when ya know ya got a good'un.

Think the 300 would be your best match up for the Channel cats Jason, on that rod
I have the 7' med with a 300 on it and it feels great to me
