well got all healed up an got ta do one of my favorite things.....make the ice look like swiss cheese in search of gills/crappie....went with 3 other friends and had a ball even though i didnt catch the biggest fish this trip....we caught tons of nice gills and redear averaging 9 to 10 inches fer the bigger ones.plus my friend got a 1 1/2 lb crappie and a redear right at a pound....heres a couple pics of the guys, one of the 2 biggest of the day and a few of mine an hour or so after we got there......darndest thing though, theyd only hit jigs that glowed due to some kind of algea bloom...water started out really cloudy when we got there but was clearing up fast towards evening...i ended up with 17 real nice gills and redear an the guys had almost 1/2 a 5 gallon bucket

Way to go Joe!!!! Sounds like a good time. I've been on those bites where they wanted the glow stuff before. Custom jigs and spins makes a horizontal flat jig I've used when they are like that.
I now have some glow head hair jigs I'm anxious to try.:icon_cool::icon_cool:
You've got me pumped and I need to get out of my shop and on the ice.Mike

Looks like a lot more fun than 14 hours on scene of a structure fire.
