My personal best was caught on a zoom horney toad in palm coast florida! Was fishing mid august,in a public canal!she was 7 1/2#

Nice fish Highrider, I've been fishing 50 some years and my biggest Bass is 5#2 ozs. and that was a Small Mouth from Canada. I have two largemouth under my belt at 5lbs , but am looking forward to one 6 or better down in Fla. next winter. Schoe

thats a nice bass fer sure.we can beat 5 lbs fer sure a lil south of here schoe. lots of times round easter on this lake its 15 ta 20 bass over 18 inches a person ifn ya git a pattern goin early in the day

Nice Bass Rich,I have 5 in the 8 lb bracket and PB was a 10.2 in Florida
the rest came from Indiana,the 10 fell to a black cherry 8 inch culprit
worm,1 of the 8 was on top water,and the others were on my good
ole live crawlers,Note that it took over 20 years to get these 6 fish,
I dont have pictures of all ,but most of them are in frames on the wall,
When Schoe came to visit he saw a few pictures,and an accident as
well,a 31 lb Tarpon on a old 33 with 6 lb line,was fishing for gills to
fish for Tarpon,hooked a small Gill and on its way in got hit by the
Tarpon,I never had a better fight than that and how lucky i was to
have the thrill,the drag on the 33 did its job,but its about wore out now:icon_eek:Didnt mean to Hi Jack your thread,it just got me thinking

I remember back in the day fishing with my dad and his 33's those were some great reels!!!!
