Grand Lake

Anybody report on this lake lately? I'm thinking about giving it a shot once this storm passes by. Any help would be apprieciated...

I believe that he is referring to Grand Lake O' The Cherokee's in North Eastern Oklahoma.

Bass'n Glad to see another Okie on board finally. What kind of info are you looking for on Grand?

Thanks TDawg. It is the one and only Grand Lake of the Cherokee that I'm planning to hit up. I'm looking for anything...Catfish, Whitebass, crappie, etc. Just throw 'em this way, I just want to get out and fish this place before it gets crowded. You fish Little Blue Lake near the Dam lately, if so, how was it? In the summer, when they released and close the dam, it does have some huge blues in it but I never caught one yet.

I haven't fished in almost 6 months.

From all reports crappie aren't biting well at all, *(low numbers due to bad spawn conditions past 2 years)*

Sandies can be found busting the surface off of wind blown points.

Blues have moved out of winter holes and are scattered due to shifting wind patterns.

Spoonbill are beginning to be snagged from twin bridges on up the lake.
