Having trashed my Strikemaster 6" Lazer blades and finding the extra set I had on hand are dull also, I'm in need of a local sharpening wizard.:confused0024: These Lazer blades require a very skilled hand for this speciality job.
Anyone know of an area shop that sharpens them.? Mike

Credit Island Baitshop over here in Davenport sharpens them. I believe Nicks Rod Reel in Davenport does too. Have you tried Easy Livin' or 11st Street Baitshop in Milan/Rock Island? I would think 11th Street would. Could even try K&K Hardware in Bettendorf. Just a thought... Let me know who you end up using, I need to get mine in too. In the meantime I have just been limping by until the season end and been using a hand sharpener from Strike Master. Here is a link : http://www.strikemaster.com/store/fishaccess.html It's half way down the page. Works for good for sharpening in between holes or when the bite is slow just sharpen the auger. Kinda a temp thing till the blades go on sale. If your blades are chipped reaal bad it does not work the best. Try it out........

A lot of times these blades are exchanged at your local stores for a new set of blades...:icon_biggrin:

I called a major sharpening place in East Moline, IL. (Quad City Carbide) They don't sharpen them there but send them to Iowa with about a week turn around time. He said he thought it was a bit over $10.00 .I had the wife drop off a pair. I hope there is ice left to try them out. If they are good I'll take them the other pair. Mike
