well definately wont be good ice anywhere this weekend, just totally clueless of where i should go and what i should try for...

any ideas anyone....

someone said something to me bout springfield power plant at the hot ditch but i know jack bout that lake and its a 90 minute drive

well if you willing to drive all the way to the savanna area i am positive that there will be good ice there. there should be good ice on the backwaters for another couple weeks, maybe even 3. there is a lot of ice over there right now.

There is always ice at the Henipen if you go to isaac walton. Just north of Geneseo. At this rate, there will be ice till May.

Ya gotta love it when they say they are clueless. I got a place to fish but it's a 4 hr drive for ya. bring your own auger there's plenty ice here, just no fishes. Or atleast i've not caught any.

well not clueless. just not sure if i trust the ice its supposed to be 45 degrees fri and saturday and only lake thats open water thats kinda close is clinton but is still kinda high and murky..just to lazy to do much searching and cant get hold of the baitshop in pekin to see if powerton boat ramp is open or hot water is open

All that snow we got turned to ice when it thawed and then refroze. only a skift of snow on the pond. the snow might go fast at 35 degrees hope the ice holds for a few more hours. Cool ya gots yourself a 4x4 and at 150 buxs ya cannot go wrong there.
