Went to the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Classic with my 2-year old daughter Lilly today in Harrisburg, PA. Place was PACKED - but still had a great time and got some even better deals. Things like hardbaits for $1.99 (and I'm not talking junk either). Lots of local guides doing demonstrations (mainly smallmouth), and even B.A.S.S. Pro Gerald Swindle "The G-Man" was there to do a short demonstration and Q&A session. I'll tell you what, I guess Gerald is from Georgia, and he might talk real fast like a Northerner, but he certainly doesn't sound like one. I guarantee only 15% (tops) of the folks that were listening to him actually understood the words coming out of his mouth.

Anyway, I picked up some gear for Trout Season for me, which starts in about a month, and Lilly picked up some candy. Actually, Lilly isn't quite 2 yet, her birthday is on Wednesday (the 5th), so I think she also spent time picking out a present for herself. Not sure if she's going to go with the ATV or Bass Boat...
