Fished below the dixon dam today with brother and he caught one 15" walleye. I had a couple fish on but im pretty sure i was just snagging carp or something because i had a few scales on my hook a couple times, lol. The walleye should be biting pretty good here soon, ill be trying to hit the damn pretty regular waiting for the bite:icon_biggrin:

well it must have filled in since you have been there cause as far as i know its pretty shallow and nothing but mud. last year there was a big ole log stuck right at the mouth of it. i fished by it once or twice last spring and didnt catch anything....i went below the dam again tonight for awhile but didnt get any eyes, snagged one red horse and three quill back. the river is up and has a lot of crap floatin down it.

I havent caught any whites yet and havent seen anybody catch any, it can be really good white fishing up by the dam though if you hit it the right day, last year they caught the crap out of whites on the south side of the river down below the second bridge right above the old scrap yard that is down there. did pretty good on crappies two years ago right underneath the first bridge..

i was wanting to get out below dam 13 or up by bellvue but havent yet this year and dont know if i will due to some repairs needed on the boat, the river should be ice free by now....i heard they found the body of the guy that drowned early ice this winter..he was 20 miles downstream where they found him around the clinton bridge.
