up coming rock river tourneys

hey all i will be running atleast these 2 tourneys on the rock,1 will be may 18th which is a sun. at oppald marrina in sterling it will be ran from 7-1 for cats only....we may run a anything but cats big fish pot just for fun. this tourney will be for the rock river ducks unlimited. it is a 25 -75 % pay out d.u. will take 25%i pay 1 in 5 usally 30 + boats in it.any donations for raffle or door prize would be appreciated. i will post rules and so forth for both tourneys as soon as i get w/ jason. the 2cnd tourney is my uncle jerry's memorial cat fish tourney at lowell park in dixon il. june 14th the day b4 fathers day it will run 8 -2 rules will be the same for both t's 10 fish 16" size limit. $25 dollars per team of 2 $10 big fish 100% pay back. and if we run it $5 anying but cats big fish 100% pay back. we have a good turn out for both of these tourneys but would like to see a few new faces... ducks unlimited is a great org. going to a good cause.and my uncles memorial t is just a good time. he loved fishing and touched many lives threw fishing. this is r way of keeping his love of the sport alive. he has been gone 3 years now and not a day on the water has gone bye i have not thought of him.

Well I will more than likely attend both of these unless some unforeseen problem comes up. Also, I will try and twist Giller around to Catfishing and see if he will fish at least one of the tournaments with me if he hasn't already planned another trip.

I'm going to try and make the may trip for sure be a great weekend seems how my B-day is that friday. I'm kinda thinkin a 3 day weekend. not sure ifn i'll bring the misses or brew. I know i'll bring some brew.

Both these tourneys are great, in great pools of the river, I encourage any and all to make it to one of these if not Both!!!! see ya there!!

schoe the DU one in may is same pool as the firemans and the other is next pool up in dixon!!

ok everyone interested rockfalls firemens tourny is on june 14th next weekend at moonlightbay on the rock river. this tourny only pays big fish entry is $30 which is a donation to buy equipment needed by the dept. and optional $10 big fish 100% pay back. for those that have not been it is a great time, well organized and lots of prizes and give aways. this was the same day i was plannng my uncles memorial tourny so i have moved mine to the 21st of june as not to interfere with the firemens t. truth me know i would hate to miss the firemens myself lol... if you need more info. on the firemens or my uncles memorial tourny please p.m. me ty
