First Trip of 2008

I got to take the boat out for her first trip of 2008 this past sunday.Had a wonderfull day as the weather was Perfect for fishin right around 70 sunny not alot of wind. Caught my first and second bass of the year the first being a 3# Smallie, the other being a 1#LMB . My uncle tom and i went in hopes of finding some saugeye spawning on the sandy beaches( or tryin) nothin doin with those critters yet but had a great day!

Rich, it's nice to hear of someone fishing, (and catching). It's been a bit stale on the board but things should be picking up now that we are heading into spring.

This time of year I can really appreciate the beauty of nice fish. As schoe mentioned, it is near time for the fishing to break loose here.
