Miller park right in Bloomington, You can fish the entire shore line on foot.
I fish it for the big carp that are in it but I have caught channel cats and there are tout fishing also besides bass and sunfish. 14 acres And you can park close to the lake.

Evergreen Lake about ten miles north of town. Really good place. I am currently living in Normal because I am going to school. Where is this Miller park at?
