Today i spent the day down at the cabin with my parents, and a couple aunt and uncles and two of my little cousins. We set some poles out with night crawlers in the bay again and only managed to catch one decent channel cat. Had three big carp on but never managed to get any of them to the bank. Should have had one that my little cousin actually caught all by herself but we couldnt get it over a log about 10ft. off the bank because it was to heavy, lol. It was a great day down there and it was fun even though we didnt catch much. I caught one small 10" bass too and lost a couple heavier fish, probably decent sized bass or maybe a walleye...

Here is one of my cousins with the catfish...

Our cabin is on the North side of thomson and the mississippi river is basically the front yard:icon_biggrin:

Actually where our cabin is at we dont get flooded to bad...Our cabin sits on the widest part of the entire mississippi river which is a couple miles across or something like that so we are lucky. If you go upriver to savanna right now its way up. down by our cabin its just up a little ways but far from any bad flooding. it has flooded it though a few times so we dont avoid it completely
