wabash river 4/18 an 4/20/08

ran the river a bit friday .....beat the daylights outta every section of rock bank from newport to perrysville with jigs cranks an everything else i could think of cept a quarter stick......only 1 sauger 11 inches long..doggone waves were bigger lol....got a few whites,drum an gar though so had a little fun....

jus got back today and ran a much smaller stretch...picked up a few cats long with a ton of drum and 2 whites....rivers still dropping so ifn it ever levels off it oughtta git good fast

Yep, with the way the water has been going up and down once it gets stable for day or so fish should be beating the water feeding

Supposed to get some rain here again (I think, haven't looked at weather yet)

The rock is suppose to be heading down now..and the mississippi is suppose to crest tuesday and start its way down too. So hopefully all will be good for the crappie bite which should be just around the corner. Hope the fishing gets good for ya soon gofish after that river has been flooded on ya so long.

oh its gittin better..times gittin harder ta find to git away now though lol....next weekends taken..doin a lil guidin fer a friend.hopefully i can help him fill his freezer with crappie fri an sat. an hit the river down south sun. lol
