hit the lake today just playin round with the bass.had over 40 in the boat for the day.only 7 keepers tween 16 and 17 inches with one 4lber ta boot.everybody was catchin fish it seemed like,big bass tourney goin on for one of the local clubs.....started off with a floating rattle trap but switched to a 300 series bandit so i could slow down my retrieve some.caught a few on a fluke and spinnerbait too....also got a mess of nice crappie.every once in a while id git a hit on the crank after it bounced off some wood that didnt feel like a bass.id turn around and throw a 2 inch sassy shad back in there an nail a crappie or 2....
towards the end of the day i met our newest member an gave em a few pointers on what i was usin an told them where a stretch of bank was that had been real productive earlier in the day...ends up they got em a few there too so it was a good deal
