Kenny....where's the picture of us heading back in? LOL
The boat project came out pretty good with the first couple of days still working out the bugs. Worse bug was the fuel level sending unit was BAD. We found that one out while about 4 miles up the main lake. After 2 miles of rowing...wind kicked up too much and had to anchor with the bow into the wind. We made a call to 911 since I haven't installed a marine radio yet (which is next on the list of things to do). They connected us to someone else and was informed that there was no officers on the lake that day. Kind of left us out to dry....well not to dry...more like to sink. We made a call back to the resort and Kenny and Denny came out to give us a tow in Schoe's boat. Luckily the aforementioned picture was taken after the the distress flag had been lowered...lol

No pictures to share since I didn't even take my camera out of the bag. Largest cat I caught on rod/reel was a nice channel at 14.1#. Marked plenty of blues in 60+ water but they all had lockjaw or didn't want what we had to offer. Next year we plan to fish the dam area and the tailwaters.

kenny that cant be ky lake...theres no waves!!!!!!!!......too bad bout the boat catbird,least it was an easy fix...heard tell ya got a free roller coaster ride though.

Great Pictures Kenny!!! :party0045: Good to see that you had a great time at KY Lake.
I talked to Giller this evening & he & Schoe had another great day fishing down there. They're heading towards home tomorrow. I'm sure he'll have a great report when he gets home.

Schoe to post his:confused0024:. Kenny was hot on those panfish for sure.
Kenny is also getting VERY good at filleting them. He takes great pride in his effort. His fillets are perfect formed and nothing goes to waste.:icon_cool::icon_cool: He also does up a fine looking and even better tasting pork butt. Thanks Ken,Mike

Man oh man, did me and giller have a great week of fishing with some of our friends at Ky. Lake. The trip exceeded both of our expectations.

We got home late yesterday after a 10 hr. drive which blessed us with severe truck butt by the time we pulled up into Giller's drive. I was tired and beat so we unhitched my boat at Mikes house and agreed to come back out this morning and unload the Canoe and Suburban.

It didn't take long for me to check out the backside of my eye lids after a few hugs from the wife and a couple pieces of Pizza.

I will elaborate more on our trip later today and post some pics. I have lots of photos and some video clips.

It was again a great trip and couldn't have happened without my good friends and members of WIF.
