I heard that the smallies have been hitting pretty good lately so i thought i would try a bit yesterday. I went out to a spot at Castle Rock on the Rock River where i have caught a few before. I was only out for about an hour before it started raining and only got one about 10" or so. Had one about 12" on and had another one swipe at it right as i pulled the crank out of the water.

here is the one i caught...

That one came on a Rebel Wee-Crawfish. The one i lost was on the same one and the one that swiped at it when i was pulling it out of the water was on a rapala countdown. The weather is warming up a bit so im looking forward to gettin ahold of a few more of them pullin machines:icon_biggrin:

Another really good smallie bait is a Yozuri 3D minnow (in a shad hue) its a suspending jerkbait but i kill em on the Green river with it.
