Dixon Dam

I have fished the dixon dam area the last couple days and have been picking up a few whitebass. Some guys have also been catching a few catfish but not many. No walleyes or crappies though like i had hoped...I have been catching my whitebass on a standard crappie tube on an 1/8oz. lead head with a steady retrieve.

Heath, those are some nice white bass. They have a great bite and run, don't they?

Yes there is no mistaking that you have a bite and they wont stop pulling untill you pull them out of the water. Then they still never want to give up and keep on shaking. They are a lot of fun to catch:icon_biggrin:

Went back today with a guy i go fishing with and caught a few more. I caught 5 and he had 2 in a couple hours. Not to fast of action but it was so nice out that i was just happy to be out there.
