Saturday on the Wacassasa River

I went out to the Gulf of Mexico on my Daughter Lisa's boyfriends pontoon boat. We tried drifting some flats for sea trout but it was so windy we went back into the river a ways to the entrance of a small creek. Lisa caught a small Redfish and Glen caught this baby Hammerhead Shark. I got skunked. :confused0024: All I caught was a crab trap. :icon_mad: We got a pic of the shark but the batteries where weak on my camera and could'nt get a pic of the red.
Thats the sharks blood not mine. It was released unharmed. :party0045:

I still cant believe this... man oh man... that is one heck of a fishing story.. least this one is true with pics to prove it! How come we dont catch stuff like that? just that ugly armour thing..eeck!

Did you get a chance at any gills during the first spawn in April? I'm not sure we had a spawn in April the water was pretty cold here.
