Hi there all.

Yesterday was a beautiful day for fishing and fellowship. A fish in was held by me at Speedwell Forge Lake in northern Lancaster County. We were fishing for and even caught a few of that sometimes contraversial species called the carp. As you will see by the smiling faces a good time was had by all. We (the 10 anglers present) caught a total of 22 carp for the day. Lowell caught the most fish with a total of 9. A late run by me couldn't catch him and I ended up with 4. Jim had 3, two anglers had 2 each, and 2 more anglers had 1 each. There were many prizes given out and a good time was had by all. Here are a few pictures:

As a side note to the main story, I had the pleasure of fishing with some of my family yesterday. My wife and mother-in-law were fishing the event as well as my stepson. They all blanked during the event except for one small bluegill that my mother-in-law caught. When the event was oficially over we kind of stayed to reflect on the day's events. I put some method around my sinker and casted out both of my lines. I wispered to my wife that I was probably going to get a hook-up very soon and if I did her mother was going to land the fish. Within 5 minutes I had a solid run and "Nanny" took over. Her grandson did the honors of netting her small lump of gold and the smile on her and my wife's face is priceless!
