Got my new M series 6ft. medium action spinning rod today and so far i am impressed. Its very appealing to the eye and just from looking at it i can tell its a nice rod and if feels just as good. I havent got a reel on it yet but as soon as i do i will get some pictures. It seems to have a very strong backbone and i plan on proving that soon. So far i can see nothing wrong with it and i would give it an A+ for the design/looks of it. Im looking forward to putting it to the test. I want to thank Lee and WIF for the chance to give this rod a test and i will do my best to find any flaws in the rod.

I paired my Acadia rod with a Gander Mountain Guide Series Tournament GST25F spinning reel and 10lb power pro braid. Today i did my first testing with my new acadia rod and i have a problem...After about 50 casts with an 1/8oz. lead head and twister the eye on the end of the pole came loose...everytime i casted it would spin around sideways. I pulled on it a bit and it wouldnt come off but it spun everytime i casted after that. Im gonna try to pull it off tonight and put some glue on it to keep it in place. Other than that it worked pretty good though. Its a little stiffer than what i usually like but ill get use to that. Only caught one striper so didnt get to battle much but did snag a big log or something once and pulled it a little ways and the rod seemed to be very strong and held up to some pretty hard pulling on whatever it was i snagged on the bottom of the river.

Tested the rod again today with no problems. Did some bass fishing with a small spinner bait and everything worked good today. No problems and no complaints. I put some glue on the tip and now it is staying in place with no problems. Im still getting use to the rod being so stiff but it handles everything ive used and caught so far very well. Caught a couple bass, one being 18" and a 25" dogfish and it handled them both very well.

Second rod we had now with a problem on the tip. Will get on top of the factory about this one. No excuse for this...

I tested out my acadia rod again yesterday and had a big failure. The tip broke off just past the second to last eye. Was fighting a pretty good sized dog fish and it just snapped right off. Another clean break just like Jasons pole. It was fun while it lasted and i thank acadia for the chance to test the rod. Here is a couple pictures...

Thanks for the all the testing and input Chris
An when the final product is ready to rock and roll, the quality of it will be in big part
because of the testing and inputs from you and the other WIF members
An you will get to see that end result :icon_biggrin:

I am looking forward to the end result from all this testing. I was starting to really like the rod and getting a good feel for it. Im sure the final product will be a fine rod and hopefully my testing will make it that much better!!
