Ole PanFish Dave, 55 yrs old, been fishing since a tad pole. I have gone the gambit from fishing with a tree limb and carpet thread to bass tourney and now, have reverted back to chasing the gills and more intently, the Red Ear.

Have been known to travel a pretty good distance to fish with someone who has prime red ear water. Let me know if you fit the bill.

I presently fish with:

An ole boy from Minn makes by hand these various jigs I use. The red ant is my favorite tipped with the red wriggler worm. I go extra ultralite to lite depending on weather, water conditions, and if I am structure. The 2 lb test on the extra ultralite can be a challange at times. On the lite, I have some rigged 4 & 6 lb test. These three rigs are just about all I use anymore. Due to a friend in Oklahoma I met cyberly and met up with at Reelfoot Lake in TN, got me to using the Rainbow Plastics Ajust-a-Bubble. This is a very ajustable float.

I also use crickets in summer and fish for cats at times.

Seems as if this is going to be a great place to talk fishing..........

I use fly boxes to keep my jigs in. Above is an example.

Looking forward to hear from the Hoosiers and maybe wetting a line or two...............

Drove into Licoln Trails a couple of times but, did not fish :icon_eek:

Will have to get over there.

If I remember Danville is just about 60 miles away.

I have never fished Lake Vemillion. Good Red Ear water? :evilgrin0039:
