Has anyone on the forum used Food Source Baits? This is a bait that was developed by Auburn University. I have tried the 1" meal worms for bluegills with a fairly good result. There are 2 flavors. The one that I tried is a "sweet" flavor. I use a slip float, a #10 hook, enough shot to just get it to my desired depth, and thread 2 of these on the hook. Working it slowly through rip rap seems to be the best technique. The company makes a whole variety of baits for many different species of fish. I believe their web site is www.fslures.com (http://www.fslures.com). The catfish plugs look like they would be awesome too! These baits are biodegradeable and take up very little room in your tackle box. Just wanted to pass this information along. I have absolutely no affiliation with this company.
