I live RIGHT on Perry Lake in Northeast Kansas and have been fishing it all of my life.
The crappie have slowed down but the white bass and catfish are just getting heated up!!!! We've been hitting the dam and rip-raps in the evenings and doing really well.

How's the Bluegill and Red Ear fishing out your way.

If it is good a few of us would possibly come and see you. Schoe

We got TONS of good size bluegills around here...as well as Green Sunfish, Rock Bass and Warmouth. The redeared sunfish are mainly in the creeks and ponds south of me.

I hate to send Giller down there Schoe, I would miss him. But, you know the last three Bluegills I caught were branded Illinoisgiller!

Boy oh boy Kevin, your last post was like dropping a big Shiner right in front of a hungry Bass.

I think if it wasn't for Giller having a very sore ankle he would have jumped on this already.

Anyway, it looks like the making's of a future road trip, whatcha think Ray, Mike, Dave, and myself.

In all honesty it would be a neat place to be on the full moon next May or June if gas isn't $25.00 per Gallon by then. Schoe

Sounds like a a trip!!! May/June is a good time. Crappie and Bass are on the spawn and the catfish are on a prespawn feeding frenzy. The White Bass and Sauger are running the rivers and the ponds around here are ALWAYS fun!!!
This B&B is litterally 2 miles from our current house and the wife and I have stayed there numerous times. They're GREAT!!!!

Is there a camp ground close by as we would probably drive a Motor Home and pull a Boat with a Canoe on top. But the B&B sounds very inviting and deserves thought. Schoe

Me and my Dad grabbed my youngest and my sisters two daughters and headed out for some evening fishing. We caught several drum, three channel cats, several largemouth and a bunch of good sized bluegill. Had a great night!!!!
