On Wednesday, Steve Farley and I loaded up the kids and headed to Wewa for a little camping and fishing. We pitched our tents right by Donnie's floating boat dock and got to fishing. During our stay we got in some Bream fishing and 3 outstanding nights of Flathead fishing. A great time was had by all and with alot of help from Donnie we were able to put them kids on some fish. Both "Crabcake" and "Little Dipper" caught Flatheads and had Steve and I grinning from ear to ear with pride. When it came to crunch time both boys performed like champs, hooking and landing those Flatheads. I wouldn't have traded that experience for anything in the world. One of the other highlights of our trip was the fish fry we enjoyed on Saterday afternoon with Steve firing up the cooker and fixing us a feast of Flathead, Channel Cat, Gator meat, French Fries and Okra. Maurice and Lucy joined us along with all the kids and we enjoyed a great meal with our good friends. Can't wait to get back up there again in August for the FCC....Ray
