I received my new rods on Thursday, I was not sure what to expect, I figured for the money I would give it a shot. Well I was pleasently suprised! I pulled out the P first, It looked very nice and felt everybit as good as my St. Croix. But we all know that what counts is how well it works at your favorite fishing hole. Same thing with the F series, looked and felt nice, but again had to wait and see how it did at the lake.
So the weather was nice, the boat was ready to go, hit the water 4:30 am. I started out with the 6'6" M F Series. I was using a Lucky Craft Bevy 45, the rod felt very nice and well balanced, however fishing was a bit slow, so I didn't get to put to the lunker test!
I went to dropshoting with the 6'6" ML P series, this rod again felt very much like my St. Croix (this alone impressed me) Again I was not going to give any credit to these inexpensive rods until I hooked a few fish. Well after 3 hours without a bite, the bass decided it was time to eat, hooked up with a few 2lbs . The rod felt great now I"m starting to get impressed, then came the 5 lb beast, The rod was flawless!! I think all the St. Croix rods will be for sale soon!
Nice job Acadia!!
Can't wait to try out the M Series!!
