Well freinds it is with great regret that I have to write that my grandmother passed away today. This is the woman that showed me how to fish and enjoy the outdoors. She lived on a lake in Hudson FL and I spent many childhood days fishing and exploring the area. She showed me how to drive a boat when I was only 6 years old and how to catch Bluegills and then clean them. She also showed me how to catch firefly's and smeer them on my shirt to make it glow. She will be greatly missed and is in a much better place, I pray.
Our thoughtws are with you, but she is in a place where the "bigguns" are always biting.

Hushpuppy, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your story about fireflies brought back memories. My own granny showed me how to put them in jars. Those are the happy thoughts to help you get through this time of sorrow.
