To start CKO had a 3 day get together. It started out being 1 day but grew.
We had kids that had a riot.

That fellar was doing a bang up job working the water column with his flasher.Spanked his dad even.
Several nice slabs were caught.

Took a day to go chase gills on a small lake close to Palisade.

The slabs have been a bit slow since January started ,but we are still picking them off.

This year for some reason we are seeing many pout.

I did take a break from my local lakes and headed for URL to chase slabs and walleyes.
On this weekend we did not see a crappie ,but the walleyes were a dime a dozen.

I have had a chance to get Pops out a few times and he's really catching on working the water column with T.H.E. Jig.

I've been asked to write an outdoor column for a local paper which is pretty cool.My 1st article is due to hit the stands soon. The forum is growing by leaps and bounds.
I've hired a different webmaster and there are many changes that will be taking place.
Austin rods are being recieved well...thanks Gregg!
So now that we are into March, the late ice bite should start withing a few weeks.
All of us are waiting to see that bite heat up!
