ok so i went to yahoo and inter, biggest catfish. and i got a

National Geographic page saying some one caught a 9 foot long 646 lb cat fish, Do you think this is real?

Craig that fish was caught over in Thailand, Mekong Catfish an it is for sure real
My personal best was 28lb flathead, like to think some of the ones I have had bust me off in snags were bigger:D but they don't count (cept in my mind :rolleyes: )

Yeah that is a beast, too bad that it died, but it fed the villiage that it was caught by.

Yeah I agree its real , I saw the National Geographic special on it and actually saw it being hauled on to the beach..its real and very big
But I wonder if caught on a rod and reel how much of a fight that old thing would have givin
