Crappie outing today using small minnows for bait. Was finding crappie 15' deep in 24' - 30' water. Total catch was 39 crappie, 1 bluegill and 1 small perch. Just finished cleaning...time to eat!

Eat well my friend. Those Crappie are some of the best. I'm going to fix the same thing for dinner tonight.
I would have liked to go fishing today but our weather here has sucked the last couple of days. Cold ,wet and rainy but my newly planted Tomato's and Peppers love it. Schoe

I took the inlaws out for our 2nd annual Memorial Day Crappie Slaughter...lol We did catch around 40 crappie. Jenifer's great nephew caught the largest crappie today. I think he is 7 years old.
