Southwest Iowa fishing???

I and the wife will be leaving on a trip to Chadron, Neb next Wed. Never wanting to waste an opportunity, we would like to do some one time panfishing in southwest Iowa on the return trip. If no leads are available, we will be chasing the gills in south central Iowa. PMs are welcome if you wish not to have a lake on public forum. Thanks, Mike

Have not hit any public access lakes yet this year
have taken some nice crappies and few walleyes in river below saylorville
I do most of my Gill fishing in farm ponds

Here is the DNR fishing report for Southwest Iowa have gotten fair amount of rain past couple days which could end up helping once water levels stablize a bit
