Hi All. New to the site. My name is Mike Perry. I live in Scottsburg Indiana. Love to fish and camp. Found this site from the BOC. I mostly fish for panfish but if it's bitin I'll try to catch it. Going on vacation the rest of the week and next week. Planning on heading to Ky. Lake if nothing happens and the weather holds. Good fishing to everyone.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Did not get to make it to Ky. Lake. Went to Patoka instead. Caught a few crappie. Most of them on the small side. Also caught some catfish so we had a good time. Still want to try and make it to Ky. Lake before fall. Kirk, I got the cards in the mail. I'll start passing them out soon as I can.

Did not fish for stripers. Actually I never have so not sure how to go about it. I hear that you need to use planer boards and that's something I've never used. I did hear last year when I was there that they were catching them on live bluegill. I also heard that they have been catching them up to 20 pounds there but not sure about that.

Mike glad you got the cards that could pick us up some new members,
when you go to Patoka have you tried the cats around the bouy fields,
those house boaters throw a lot of garbage overboard, and it makes for some
good cat fishing at night, some of my bigger cats have come from doing this
on Brookville Lake, keep us posted on how things are going.KIRK

I usually catch descent cats out of Patoka but never nothing big. We fished around Newton Stewart Marina at night and did pretty good on crappies but most of them were on the small side (less than 10 inches) Threw the back to let them grow. Probably will go again in the next couple of weeks.
