I have been fishing the swatara creek at lickdale for years,but for some reason this year has been pickeral year. i have gotten some juvie muskies over the years,but this year I am up to 10 pickeral ,most on strike king pond minnow blue back chartruese,next a rapala in hot steel,and 1 on a pather martin brown trout holographic,that spinner lost all its stuff on the blade before fight was over

congrats on the catch and thanks fer shareing the pics n story. so are those things anything like northerns to eat?

I do not eat fish,if a friend wants a couple then I will harvest a few,but alot of waters I fish now are still recovering from acid run off from coal mines

i live in northwest pa, and we dont get them anywhere near that big.those are cool lookin fish.
