For the few of you that use a float tube, you should always wear a life vest.
Yea, I know, sound advise that I don't always use. I have a habit of puting the vest in the space behind me in my Fish Cat#4 . It is handy to get at ,but who knows what will go down in an emergency:confused: The tube and vest could push off away from me. I'll now run a simple tether from the vest to clip on my waders. At least it will be within easy reach. You small lake and pondhoppers need to take a look at these tubes. They are just plain neat to fish out of . No, you can't tip over in the modern ones unless you are athletic and double jointed . lol

I thought about getting one for ponds down in southern Iowa but I would be afraid them snappers would come up and get my toes. Even though they arent that pretty I do like my toes.

Leeches dont bother me, some free bait. I dont want any big snappers coming up for some lunch. Mike I was wondering if you ever take one out on the green river, just moved out by there and heard there is some good crappie and smallie action and need a source to get down the river while it is higher. Hoping to wade it later in the year.
