This is where I'm going in the morning... A "big" pond... It's called Geiger's Lake...
Back during the Civil War history has it as one of the largest Battles in Kentucky.. The Battle Of Lake Geiger... Yep, history also has it that the Yanks opened a can of Whoopass on The Rebs here (hate to hear that) But, it happened... Legend has it that the bottom of this lake is covered with guns,canons and Civil War relics.. Legend also has it that in the 50's a man fishing for crappie with a cane pole caught a 90 lb catfish (legend , not recorded)

This lake is known for it's MONSTER gills and some very big Crappie... I'm gonna try to show you guys some tomorrow afternoon.
Notice the VERY BIG Cypress Trees and Cypress knees in the water... You know there's some BIG'UNS laying there waiting for ole Soups:rolleyes:
