I just about have everything lined up and ready to load the Suburban sometime tomorrow so me and Recco can head for Hikerdave's place down by Mountain Home Arkansas on Mon.

By the sounds of things the Stripper bite is good and those big Bull Bluegills will be on the beds.

I am pretty sure I will have internet access to report on our success.

It's an all day drive down there so if we leave at 6:00 A.M. on Mon. we should be there well before dark.

With the lake at flood stage and the water up in the trees, Shad are hard to find but not impossible. The clarity is good and the trash from the flooding is reported to be minimal. There is a good top water Striper bite early in the morning and trolling has been producing some great fish. One of my friends and his brother caught a 52 lb Blue cat while fishing flat lined Shad about 100 ft behind the boat.
