Gulf SHores Fishing

I'll be in Gulf Shores, Al the last wek in July. Anyone near there that has and "secrets" they are willing to share about the area.
Or better yet, anyone interested in going fishing????? :cool:

Ive been fishing in port aransas, rockport and south padre island a lot. there are a lot of different charters for deep sea, bay fishing. a lot of people surf and wade fish also. Another popular activity is flounder giggin. Mostly there are red fish near the shore and deep sea u will find ling, grouper, red and vermillion snapper and shark.

aaah i just noticed u said gulf shores, im not sure where that is but u should give gulf coast fishing a try

Gulf Shores is about as Gulf Coast as you can get... it is right in the middle. :D

I go there every year and have my own boat, just seeing if anyone wanted to meet up.

I've never fished down south ,although I've seen alot on tv and would love to try . A friend of mine lived down there he said fresh tuna is the best, red snapper was not far behind. I go hunting every year in the beautiful state of Wyoming and I try to get to Canada at least once during the spring for walleye and pike, but I think one year I might have to take an extra vacation and go down south to find out what all the fuss is about

hi rcd you are welcome to come down here to north west florida and try your luck here in wewahitchka florida lots of rivers and lots of salt water fishing i think you would like it around here

hey Tee i live in Luverne,AL which is about 2 hours from Gulf Shores. i would love to do some fishing with you, are you gonna do some deep sea fishing or catfishing?

The weather is HOTTTTT! and the fishing is good!
Kat's dad caught a 39" 29lb 6oz red tuesday and I caught a 33" 19lb 2oz yesterday.

them are some nice reds....keep tearing em' up.......
just remember you can only keep em' between 18 and 27 inches long.....bummmer eh'....lol
