Going up by Hayward WI

Heading up to Northern WI lake Chicog and a few others in the area for a week. I'm going to be hunting for some Muskie but really looking at lots of Northern's and Crappie, and good suggestions for lakes that I have not fished much on....I'll keep everyone posted as I'm up there.

Currently my favorite and most reliable way to catch Northern's is with a white spinner, crappie I've used plastics and different live baits and found good success in MN.

I was using a double jointed minnow to nail northern and largemouth on a lake in MN last weekend. I was fishing over weeds in about 8 feet of water. The bait was running right on top of the weed bed probably about 6 feet down.

Best thing I've ever found for Northerns around here is Red Eye spoons
Either the plain nickle or the Chartreuse and Orange banded
