I had the pleasure of getting to Southeast Iowa for a gill hunting day with Colbyjack:D . I had told him that we could go out sometime back in early spring. Somehow ,we just couldn't get the timing worked out untill today. We got a nice mess of gills and he was certianly a pleasure to fish with. The weather cooperated for the most part, but looked threatning most of the day. He plans to post some pics. later. Mike

No way to clean fish but an electric, I even do bluegill with mine even though I go alittle too deep once in a while with my first cut. Nice job though.

Colbyjack- Don"t tell anyone that the "secret" jig color was pink. lol
Comward- Once in a while I get too agressive and cut one in two. I just turn it and fillet it from the tail when that happens. Happens to me most when I'm trying to show off. (go figure) Mike

Colby, looks like you had a taste of what it's like to go panfishing with a master of catching and a wizard at filleting them. Through the grapevine I heard the Bluegills in Wis. were starting to get nervous because they heard Mike was maybe coming back in July. Schoe
