Sooo now that we finally got some ice i had to get out no matter how cold it was! Actually fished last night for awhile and found some crappies. Ended up keeping 3 and throwing back 8 or 10. Went back to the same spot at sunrise this morning hoping the bite would be better but it wasnt by much. I ended up keeping 7 this morning and threw back about the same and my partner got 3. Enough for a good meal between last night and the two of us this morning but it was a pretty tough bite. Fish are definetaly in a mid winter patern with lots of fish on the vexilar just sniffing! Fished ranged from 9" to a little over 12". The board in the picture is 12" wide.
