i have always heard that bass love crawfish and seen people on tv fish with crawfish plastic lures...what i was wanderen if there aint any crawfish in the pond(i havent ever seen any) would the bass still hit the plastic lures. i reckon best to just try it but i aint gonna be able to go fishen till the weekend or early next week...gonna try and get some before i go fishen though. thanks

theyll still hit em. if your talkin soft plastics id try a big 10 inch worm this time of year first though,specially after dark.

Have not personally used this but the new YUM super craw bug is supposed to be awsome. A couple of friends have used them and get hit after hit. I am trying it my next outing.

They look real fishey to me,i looked them up at BASS PRO and they come
in 8 colors and BASS PRO price is some what cheaper at $3.69 apeice,
beats $4.49 ,got to save when you can. KIRK

i bought some of those yum craw pappis saturday when i got my reel and rod but didnt use them sunday or monday cuz the fish werent biteing that good and the water was almost 2 foot low didnt want to open them and waste one.

the ones i bought came in a 8 pack and 2 hooks came with them for like 3 bucks

yes, they are found in the ponds..I know this because I bought a minnow trap and we put bread and there and it sank down to the bottom and we caught a few crawfish. I'd suggest using crawfish near some sort of structure and put a sinker on it and sort of jig it along.;)

Crawfish go through a series of color changes throughout the year. Make sure you try and find which phase they are in to increase your odds ;)
Phases are red orange green and blue....
