I'm not sure what my favorite would be but i guess a good ol' spinnerbait or maybe even a small to medium sized daredevil spinner.....:)

I think I've gaught the majority of mine on a good old dew worm on a hook and bobber, or a Mister Twister with a 3in curly tail grub.

Favorite bait Culprit Curley Tale worm in purple or black cherry color, have
taken many bass on them.8 Biggest Bass were taken on Creek Chub
top water plunker,6 in 8 lb range 1 in 9lb+ 1 at 10lb 6oz.I would probably
set down and shed a tear if i was to lose my creek chubs,im thinking of
just hanging them up before it happens.they are 35 to 40 years old and
deserve a rest. KIRK
NOTE all the bass were realeased:cool:1 more bait that is a killer is a black
jitter bug at night.

I have a black jitter bug, caught so many fish on it I lost the front hook. I like fishing about any topwater just to see the action, hooked on a buzzbait in calm water. But I think my favorite right now is a plastic worm or lizard, I love the feel of on taking the bait, I can almost see the fish suck it in or pick it up, then start to swim away and Whammmo! Set the hook and horse it out of the cover before it wraps you around log!

Buzz bait, jitterbug or spook on top.
spinnerbait,rapala,heddon flatfish mid-water.
Jig&pig,or soft plastic crawdads or mr.twisters deep.
When all else fails I go to live bait.

What makes you people think it's "your" favorite Bass Lure ? Are you bitin' on it? Like I said earlier MY FAVORITE BASS LURE is WHATEVER THE FISH WILL HIT AT THE TIME !
It's gotta be The Fish's Favorite LURE ! And we all know that changes with the conditions.... To a simple man like me this thread is silly.... I ain't gonna bite on these LURE.... (even I'm smater than that) and ('cept for tastin' the cheese bait, once)
I have a tackle box full of "favorite LURES" when the fish are hittin' them.
My FAVORITE BASS LURE is what ever catches them at the time.... Just something to think about...
Boy, you city folk sure "can make my day" with some of these questions you ask...

About a size 4 baitholder hook with a whole nightcrawler on it, about maybe a 4-5 inch tail.
I like the soft baits, because the work on almost everything.:D

SPRO or Sumo Frog for the top, a swimblade for the mid section and a large worm or lizard( 14 inch ) with an 8/0 hook on the bottom. I don't think this question is silly at all, everyone has a favorite lure to catch a bass on and that builds confidence. I believe confidence in your lure and presentation is far more important than whats tied on or what color you are using. Confidence in your lure gives you the ability to stick with it and overcome a dry spell. Confidence also makes you more focused on what you are doing as far as imparting action to your lure and anticipating a strike even after 300 casts. Silly is thinking that a bass has a favorite lure because I haven't met a bass yet that likes any af them once they have tasted a hook ;)
