i've been experimenting with new jigs and baits i've been tryin to throw things fish dont normally see so i talk to anglers there and see what they use and how well it works then try something like a lizard rigged backwards or creaturebaits... Putting weight in the ends of worms.Trying all kinds of creature baits like brushhawgs. And find that its doin a hell of a job i caught 8 bass on my last trip.In a pond with some of the worst pressure i've seen. the biggest only bein about 4 1/2 pounds but about 4 solid 3 pounders. Then some smaller ones around a pound. thats the best day i've had there, i told a buddy of mine and gave him a few junebug worms and some all different colored hawgs and he beat me with a 11 fish and some real nice ones biggest bein almost 6 pounds. The key is a very slow twitching retrieve even letting it sit for up to a min and changing color and size every so often. The Junebug Zoom fish doctor is my favorite so far though.

im gonna try and dig up some pics and see if i cant find a scanner.

small differences in rigging or retrieve work wonders at times.try a flippin tube texposed with a owner 5/0 rign hook and pegged 1/16th to 1/8th oz sinker.rigged like that gives it a unique action.

Try the Zoom speed craw with a 3/0 texposed widegap hook and a 1/4 to 3/8 oz bullet sinker (non pegged) this is a (flutter bait) just cast it and let it sink most bited will come on the desent. I prefer watermelon for clear water and black red flake for stained. They are also great trailers for jigs. Good luck!
